The Intracoastal Waterway –Gulf side- is an undiscovered gem for recreational and long distance rowers. It is also a great area for winter training and building up your fitness for the starting rowing season in Europe. The variety of this tour will be amazing: You will see high rises and the fantastic skyline of Sarasota, as well as the mansions close to the water. There is a beautiful landscape; mangrove coasts to beautiful shell enriched beaches on the barrier islands. Enjoy watching animals such as manatees, dolphins as well as pelicans, herons, egrets and ibis abound. All in all, this tour will definitely impress you. The temperatures will be between 12 and 20 C, perfect for rowing in sweat shirts, or even in T-shirts.

This tour – organized together with our partners in North America will lead you along the Florida Gulf Coast. We will start in one of the Floridian Rowing Centers at the Gulf coast –in Sarasota, and row down to Boca Grande in Composite quads, coxed C-GIG 4x/- / yolette a 4x/-. Registration deadline: 31. Jan. 2019.

We take care of your hotel/hostel accommodation close to the beach, where you can relax after the exciting rowing days. If you like, we will organize a Tampa airport pick up at a small extra fee.
